Xiaomi plans to hold an event in China on 27th of July, 2016. Ahead of this occasion, Xiaomi teases about their forthcoming Redmi Pro handset. In Weibo posts, Xiaomi hinted that the mobile will feature an OLED screen and may be powered by a deca-core processor.
In the first Weibo post, Chef Liu Shi Shi has claimed to cook an “Oled Ping” which shows the presence of an Oled display upfront. In the second Weibo post, Shi has said to be making a “ten nuclear double stem head” dish, which shows the presence of deca-core processor.
The recent teaser appears to comfirm the earlier leak which claimed that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro would feature a deca-core MediaTek MT6797M processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
As per the previous reports, the smartphone has said to run MIUI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. According to some rumors, it seems like there will also be a 4 GB RAM version. The Redmi Pro was purportedly spotted on Geekbench benchmark, scoring 1218 in single-core tests while 4183 on multi-core test.
As per the leaked pictures, Redmi Pro handset may sport a metal unibody with antenna bands on top and bottom of the mobile. The volume rockers and the power button were on the right side of the mobile. It may also sport fingerprint scanner on the front. The Redmi Pro is expected to come with two cameras at the rear part, placed below each other vertically.
