Vivo, Chinese smartphone producer has come out with a new 4G Smartphone under its Y series called “Vivo Y55S” in India. It comes dipped in Crown Gold and Space Grey color variants and carries a price tag of Rs. 12,490. Device is available across the country starting this February 26th onwards. High spot of this all metal uni-body handset is its ‘Smart Split Screen 2.0 Feature’ that lets users to Multi Task and use 2 apps simultaneously and ‘Eye Protection Mode’- prevents eye strain by reducing blue light for a comfortable screen brightness. This smartphone is a successor of Y 55L with improved specs.

Here come the key specs of Vivo Y55S:

Vivo Y55S sports a 5.2-inch (720*1280 p) IPS LCD Display with 282 PPi, 2.5 D Curved Glass and 16 M Colors. The device is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Qual Comm MSM 8917 Snapdragon 425 Processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It has a storage space of 16 GB ROM which can be extended up to 256 GB via Micro SD Card Slot. This Dual-SIM handset runs Android Marshmallows 6.0 OS out of the box with Fun Touch OS 3.0 and is backed up with its 2730 mAh li-ion non-removable battery which delivers 11 hours of talk time and 250 hours of Standby time. On the camera front it shoots its pictures with 13 MP Rear Camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and 5 MP Front Camera for Selfies and Video Calls. In terms of network it offers 3G, 4G LTE, 4G Volte, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, BDS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack and Micro-USB 2.0. It measures 7.5 mm thick and weighs 142 grams. Sensors lodged are Accelerometer, Proximity and Compass.
