Along with Android smartwatch of Tag Heuer, another watch maker named Vector is about to launch smart wearable named as Vector Watch. It has been rolled out at the annual luxury watch fair in Switzerland. The brand Vector is a collaboration between Joe Santana, who is the ex-Chief Executive Officer of Timex and Steve Jarvis, who is the ex designer at Nike and CTO of Vector, Andrei Pitis.
Vector Watch has a memory LCD which promises to give a battery life 30 days, which is the most important feature. The smartwatch is suitable with Android, iOS and Windows platforms. The smartwatch displays notifications on their screen which can be dismissed at the flick of the wrist.
The smartwatch will comes in two shapes. One named as Luna with circular dial and another named as Meridian with a rectangular-shaped dial. Some features such as step, calorie, distance traveled tracker and sleep tracking. The watch has a notification system which is sensor-activated and lets one to acknowledge messages with a simple flick of a wrist.
The device functions with IFTTT commands. After this channel integration has launched, users can share and create their recipes for services such as Evernote, Faceook, Gmail and Nest. The 42.5 mm round shaped model has priced at $399 (Rs 24,867) and comes in Nylon Nato and Leather Nato straps. The smartwatch will begin their sale on late summer, but pre orders have started right now.
