Truecaller app has helped the users to separate out calls from unknown and spam numbers, and now it wishes to do the same for SMS. The Swedish company has released an app named ‘Truemessenger’, that targets at making text messages smarter and less spam.

The working of Truemessenger’s app resembles the working of Truecaller. It will find the person who sends text from an unknown number. Their spam database will separate out messages from numbers that have been marked as a nuisance by other users. One can also tag the number as spam, so it may help others as well. Spam texts are collected in a separate folder, helping to avoid litter.

This app also has social side. Once they have found an unknown number, the app will be able to assign images and other details from your Facebook account.

Truemessenger is available only in India now and will reach other nations soon. It is available only on the Android operating system, because of the openness of the platform. One who wish have this app on their device can head-over to Google Play Store to install it with free of cost. Truecaller has 150 million activated users, among which 80 million users are in India. Their aim is to reach 120 million mark in the nation.
