Motorola confirms that Android Nougat for Moto E3 and its peers Moto G Turbo, Moto G3 etc, will not be acquiring any updates. Nougat is the seventh major version of android operating system, which people are expecting to see in their mobile phone. Unfortunately Moto E3 will not be able to fulfill this criteria, there were hopes that the phone would be of use even after knowing the fact that the mobile phone was rejected last October.
We can find details about operating system of the Moto phone through an online service, which provides the information about the current operating system and to which version it can be updated to.
Specifications of Moto E3: It has 5 inch HD IPS LCD display, 720 x 1080 pixel resolution, current running android version is marshmallow. The phone is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processer coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM, along with a good internal memory of 16GB which is further expandable by up to 32GB with a microSD card slot.It also has dual SIM, 4G LTE (VoLTE-ready) and USB OTG.
It was released last September, and even today flipkart sells it in the same price of Rs 7999, which is a bonus for Moto.
Moto E3 is an affordable phone but people will definitely look for the upgradable option. In comparison there are many other better phones for the same price like Xiaomi Redmi 3S, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, Moto G Play etc,.
