Microsoft has hyped to make a public statement about the Lumia 940 in late 2015 and it could be the next Lumia flagship replacing the dated Lumia 930 variant. Microsoft has not yet revealed their flagship plans officialy, but here are some possible features of the handset.
A per the recent report, the Microsoft Lumia 940 may screen with 5.2-inch display, while their Lumia 940 XL smartphone will bump the screen up to 5.7-inch. The forth coming Windows 10 operating system supports top-end processors, so Microsoft has anticipated to go after a flagship chipset with an octa-core processor. At last, the main camera at the back will get a new higher resolution 24 or 25 Mega Pixel camera sensor, while the front snapper will be updated with a 5 or 8 Mega Pixel camera sensor.
Lumia 940 may include native pen support, iris scanning capabilities and 3D-like interactions. Nokia works on 3D-like interactions for a while before Microsoft’s acquisition and Microsoft is prepping a revolution of their own, so this time around those long delayed creative feature may finally come to life.
The upcoming Microsoft Lumia flagship, most probably Lumia 940, should run on Windows 10 operating system and could be made public as early as April 29 at the BUILD conference. Microsoft may also debut two mid-range device as rumored before and one of the could be a dual-SIM flavor of the Lumia 830, as per the latest report.
