LG on the other hand has started sending out invites for a press event scheduled on Wednesday in New Delhi. This event is going to take place on February 22nd ahead of CES and LG is going to unveil its 2017 K Series Handsets. IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will be uncovering this Mid-Range K-Series Smartphones namely LG K3 (2017), LG K4 (2017), LG K8 (2017) and LG K10 (2017) in the presence of Kimi Ki Wan, MD LG India. These smartphones are likely to be made in India, and LG will announce this new K Series Handsets as “Made in India” Devices.

Let’s have a quick outlook on the specifications of LG K Series 2017:

LG K3 (2017):


It sports a 4.5-inch (480*854 p) FWVGA Display. Device is powered by 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Qual-Comm Snapdragon 210 MSM 8909 CPU coupled with 1 GB RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. The storage space 8 GB can be extended up to 32GB via Micro SD Card Slot. This handset runs Android Marshmallows 6.0.1 OS out of the box and is backed up with its 2100 mAh battery. On the camera front it shoots its pictures with 5 MP Rear Camera with Autofocus and LED Flash and 2 MP Front Camera for Selfies and Video Calls. In terms of network it offers 3G, 4G LTE, 4G Volte, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 V, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack and Micro-USB 2.0 Type B. This handset runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS out of the box and is backed up with its 2800 mAh battery.
