Lenovo, Chinese Smartphone manufacturer on 6th February 2017 announced a new line up to its Tablet Segment dubbed as “Yoga A 12”. This budget tablet is listed on Company’s Website and comes with a price tag of $ 299 (Approx. Rs. 20,000). It is available through Lenovo Online Stores starting this Wednesday onwards. It comes dipped in both Gun Metal Grey and Rose Gold color options. Yoga A 12 with its rotatable 360-degree convertible hinge converts the tablet to 4 different modes.
Yoga A 12 Android Tablet flaunts a 12.2- inch HD Display (720*1280 P). It is Aluminum and Magnesium build with a pair of speakers with Dolby Atmos feature. Powered by Intel Atom X 5 Processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. Lenovo claims that it has Android 6.0.1 Marshmallows OS with Hybrid UI on top and comes with pre-loaded Google productivity suite apps. Device measures around 5.4 mm thick and weighs less than a kilogram and gets 13 hours of battery life on a single charge.
High spot of the device is its Halo keyboard a feature from its predecessor Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 Laptop. This Halo Keyboard is designed flat with touch screen buttons and comes with integrated prediction and artificial learning software. It learns and adapts the user’s way of typing. The touch screen buttons seem to be comfortable for most smartphone users to handle it with ease.
Speaking about the idea of how the budget convertible tablet got life, Lenovo, stated, “In our constant search to create different and better products, we listened to hundreds of user’s opinions about their computing needs and operating system of choice. For these users, Android and Productivity weren’t mutually exclusive-the smartphone or tablet experience can be seamlessly extended to the personal computer. That’s why we created the Yoga A 12”.
