Turkish Handset Manufacturer General Mobiles in Partnership with Google has uncovered its latest Android One Smartphone entitled as General Mobile GM 6 at MWC event held in Barcelona. This smartphone is 4G enabled and is available in Single /Dual SIM options. It comes dipped in Gold, Rose Gold, Space Grey color variants. General Mobiles has not disclosed price and availability details as of now for its Android One Smartphone.
Commenting on Launch, Sebahattin Yaman, Chairman of General Mobile, said, “General Mobile 4G, the first product of our collaboration that we developed within the Android One program, has achieved great success in many countries, and it positioned among the top as one of the most preferred smartphones in the researches. Then, we carried this success to global scale by selling our General Mobile GM 5 and GM 5 Plus, the second and third models of Android One in 20 countries this year. With the new “GM 6”, we aim to increase our success by selling General Mobile products in 45 countries.

GM 6 sports a 5.0-inch (720 *1280 p) On Cell IPS Display with 294 PPi, 2.5 D Curved Glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Protection and 16 M colors. It gets its power from 1.5 GHz Quad-Core Mediatek MT 6737 Processor and Mali T 720 GPU. Device has 3 GB RAM and Storage Space of 32 GB ROM – 128 GB ROM extended via Micro SD Card Slot. On the camera front, it has 13 MP Rear Camera with Auto Focus and Dual LED Flash and 8 MP Front Camera with Selfie Flash. It has Finger Print Scanner on Home Button that helps in unlocking the device in 0.2 seconds. This handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. Backed up with 3000 mAh Li-Ion Non-Removable Battery. In terms of connectivity it offers 3G, 4G LTE, 4G Volte, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 V, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5 mm Audio Jack and Micro-USB 2.0. Measures around 8.60 mm thick and weighs 150 grams. Sensors lodged are Compass, Magnetometer, Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Gyroscope.
