BlackBerry, Canadian Smartphone Maker announced its last smartphone named BlackBerry KEYone. This smartphone was manufactured by TCL and will be hitting the market shelves from April 1st week at a cost of EUR 599 / $549 (Approx. Rs. 38,600). It is TCL first licensed BlackBerry Smartphone and it comes with QWERTY Keyboard and Large Screen. BlackBerry was known for its QWERTY Keyboard, but lost its familiarity after the arrival of Touch Screen Handsets. In this new invention, the keyboard is used more rather than typing, the spacebar on the keyboard doubles as FPS and letter keys are used as shortcuts to open specific apps.

TCL in Partnership with BlackBerry announced it ahead of the MWC 2017 event. Speaking on the launch Alex Thurber, General Manager of BlackBerry’s Mobility Solutions Unit, said, BlackBerry worked closely with TCL to build security into the new device. He also added that, “At BlackBerry we live and breathe security. Security has been engineered into the entire manufacturing process, throughout the hardware and of course the software.”
Nicolas Zibell, TCL Chief Executive, said, TCL would be coming out with new BlackBerry products later this year. “What we are unveiling today is just the beginning of a new story.”
